Who controls your data

What PrepDossier processes
We process your account details, the interview information you submit, optional CV context, generated dossiers, credit balance, and the technical data needed to operate and protect the service. Please do not submit special-category personal data or confidential employer information.
Purposes and legal bases
We process account, interview, dossier, and purchase information to perform our contract with you. We process limited security, fraud-prevention, support, and reliability data for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. We process optional product analytics and client error events only with your consent. We retain transaction records where needed to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Analytics and error monitoring
Optional analytics are off until you make a choice. If you allow them, we use PostHog's European service for product analytics, Core Web Vitals performance measurements, and privacy-limited client error events. Error events contain the error type, page path, and technical source, not dossier content, CV text, quiz answers, payment details, or the error message. Automatic click capture, advertising tracking, network timing capture, and session recordings are disabled. You can turn analytics off again in Settings.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, authentication and data storage, AI and web research, payments, mobile purchase management, email, and optional analytics. These providers receive only the information needed for their role and process it under their own contractual and security obligations. Key providers include Supabase for authentication and application data, Stripe for web payments, Apple and RevenueCat for iOS purchases, PostHog EU for optional analytics, and OpenAI Sites for web hosting.
Payments
Web payments are handled by Stripe. PrepDossier does not receive or store your full card number. Purchases made through Apple are handled under Apple’s payment and privacy terms.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential browser storage for authentication, security, language, storefront display, checkout recovery, and saved form progress. Optional analytics storage is used only after consent. You can change the analytics choice in Settings.
Retention and security
We retain account and dossier data while your account is active. When you delete the account, the deletion process removes account data subject to limited records that must be kept for security, tax, payment, dispute, or legal obligations. Provider logs and backups expire under their applicable retention schedules. We use access controls and encrypted transport, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and EU rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You can delete your account from Settings. For another request, email support@prepdossier.com. You may also complain to the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing or your local data-protection authority.
International processing
We prefer European data regions where available. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Automated processing and children
Automated systems generate interview-preparation content, but PrepDossier does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. The service is not directed to children under 16.
