The short version
- Send the page URL, disputed claim, and supporting source to support@prepdossier.com.
- Corrections are evaluated against current primary sources and relevant scope such as role, level, region, and date.
- Material corrections update the page, its visible date, and an explanatory note when readers could have been misled.
- A different candidate experience may be valid without proving that the guide is universally wrong.
How to report a correction
A precise report is easier to verify and fix.
- Email support@prepdossier.com with the subject line Editorial correction.
- Include the full PrepDossier page URL and copy the exact sentence or section in question.
- Explain what appears wrong, stale, unsupported, or misleading.
- Link the current employer source or other evidence that supports the change.
- If describing your own process, include the role, approximate level, country, and month without sharing confidential prompts or personal data.
How a report is reviewed
The question is not only whether two accounts differ, but which scope each account can support.
We compare the report with the cited source, the employer's current material, and any relevant candidate pattern. We check whether the disagreement can be explained by team, level, region, hiring program, date, or an interview experiment.
When the public evidence remains mixed, the correction may be to qualify the wording rather than choose one account as universally true. The aim is to leave the next reader with a more accurate confidence level.
What happens after verification
The size of the correction should match the possible effect on the reader.
- Minor clarity, grammar, and link repairs are corrected directly.
- A stale process detail is updated, re-sourced, and given a new review date.
- A material error receives an explanatory correction note when the earlier wording could have changed preparation decisions.
- Unsupported content is removed rather than preserved for appearance or search traffic.
- If a report cannot be verified, the wording may still be narrowed to reflect the uncertainty honestly.
When a different experience is not an error
Two credible candidates can receive different loops at the same employer.
Differences by team, seniority, specialty, country, and hiring program are common. A current candidate account is valuable evidence of variation, but one account may not justify replacing a process that an employer confirms for another scope.
In those cases, we add the missing limit, explain the variation, or tell readers which question to ask their recruiter. We do not publish confidential question text as proof.
Privacy, legal, and safety concerns
Urgent reports can involve more than editorial accuracy.
